Would anyone like to be a Contributor?

You must be able to vote on incoming gallery submissions fairly often. At least a few times a week at minimum.

Submission Rules
They have been tweaked a bit so please read before submitting. I've been noticing a lot of people spamming us with submissions when you're only allowed one per week. Please pay attention to where you are submitting or else you will be declined right away. This may seem harsh but it only takes a few moments to find the right folder. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to comment or note us.

Long Waits Before Accepting or Declining / Expired Submissions
The one submission a week was put into effect because of the sheer amount of work being submitted. As of right now there are 3,468 Members in the group. Please respect the rules and be patient as we're backlogged from weeks ago. I'm sorry if your submission expires and you're welcome to submit it again if you want to.

Looking for Contributors
I need more people to help out with accepting and declining members and submissions. I also would like to have contest organizers. Please note the group with why you'd like to be a contributor, what you can do to help and list any other groups you're a part of so I know you will be a valuable part of the team.

Lack Of Contests and Other Fun Things
I didn't expect the group to blow up this much and as such I've been overwhelmed for months. I can't run a contest by myself so I'm hoping some people will volunteer to help out so the group will seem more fun and friendly.

Failed Management
As I stated in a few other points, I'm overwhelmed with things right now and as such the entire group is suffering for it. I really apologize for not getting responses when you comment and having to wait so long to be accepted. I'm hoping to bring some new people in to help with the load who understand the rules I have in place. I really want this group be friendly and more active in terms of fun things to do and other interactions.

Submitting to the GALLERY


SUBMISSION RULES


Please submit your work to the approriate folder.

You're allowed to submit ONE image a week. The week begins Monday.

Do not submit work that has been heavily photoshopped. This includes work with a sepia ( or other color ) overlay, texture overlay ( like fake bokeh ), over sharpening, a glow, heavy vingetting, HDR. Basic exposure/contrast/sharpening adjustments are allowed.

Please do not submit work with selected color. This means that the rest of the image is in black and white with a small part in color.

Photomanipulation and nudity are not allowed.

Please do not submit cellphone pictures or portraits done within your arms reach.

Photographs will be declined on the above and also if they are in the wrong folder.

Please pay attention to where you are submitting. Choose the folder which best fits your photograph.

Deviations you submit are NOT allowed to be your own.
 You're allowed to submit one deviation each day to any of the folders.

Backed Up Submissions

We're still working on getting all of the join requests and deviation submissions up to date. I apologize if you wait over a week or two before you're accepted or declined. Please be patient. I'm aware that I haven't been taking care of the group as well as I could have been. I'm really trying to make it better.
